Acrylic on 16"x20" Artists Canvas board

An impressionistic painting of a hillside pasture that was illuminated with a late afternoon sun in late fall. The cows seemed to be very content getting their fill of grass. This pasture is only a few hundred yards from my house and has enticed me to paint it and I finally did. Let me know what you think of it.

This is beautiful. I love the impressionistic style, you have got it spot on and youve got your own unique twist on it too! I love your work!

i love the simplicity in your art, i can never make myself draw places like pastures or meadows because i find myself drawing every grass stalk, if i dont it never looks any good like this. i like the 2 cattle at the front, very content until winter comes i suspect.

I really fail when it comes to simplicity LyrebirdJacki. Except when I put a little distance between me and what I'm painting. Again, thanks for taking a look.
